We all have our worries, especially when it comes to our romantic relationships. Maybe you’re anxious about possibly having to catch a cheater in the act. Or you’re concerned that your boyfriend might be lying about just “going out with the guys” tonight. Try not to stress! There’s a possibility that it’s all in your head. You can put these worries to rest and liberate your soul by recognizing these signs that your relationship is actually going well.
You Don’t Know Everything About Them
I know what you’re thinking. “How is it okay if I don’t know everything about my partner?” Relax. There’s no need to jump to conclusions that you’ll eventually catch a cheater in the act. I bet your significant other doesn’t know everything about you, too. Believe it or not, this is fine. You and your partner should be a team, but you’re individual people, too. You’re allowed to have your own interests and secrets, as long as they don’t harm them in any way.
You Express Love In Different Ways
Have you heard of the 5 Love Languages? If you express your love for your partner by verbally telling them, while they like to give you small gifts or accomplish errands for you, you might have different love languages. And that’s perfectly okay! It’s nothing to feel insecure or worried about. You and your partner just need to understand that you both love each other and have your own unique ways of showing affection.
You Feel Too Comfortable
Is a voice in the back of your mind telling you that you’re eventually going to catch a cheater in the act? Is it because the honeymoon phase faded and it’s now a more comfortable kind of love? That’s no reason to think your partner is seeing someone else behind your back. When you both feel comfortable with each other, that’s really the best kind of love there is. It means you have someone you can tell everything to, without judgment, and who will be by your side whenever you need them. And there are plenty of ways to bring back that spark, too. Spontaneous date nights and picking up a new hobby together are just a couple of them.
You Have Different Views
Maybe you’re an introvert who enjoys spending most of their time at home, while your partner is much more family-oriented. There’s nothing wrong with that! It doesn’t mean you’re incompatible. What matters is how you handle these differences and make plans that suit both of your needs. You can’t have a successful relationship without important compromises.
